Frequently asked questions

  • How fast can you get here?
Seattle and Bellevue calls before 2pm are almost always same-day. Other Puget Sound zones are next-day standard, often same-day if dispatch is light. Check the live coverage map for today's averages.
  • Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
$89 diagnostic, waived if you proceed with the repair. We give a flat-rate repair quote before any wrench turns — no time-and-materials surprises.
  • Do heat pumps actually work in Seattle winters?
Yes. The cold-climate heat pumps we install (Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat, Bosch IDS, Carrier Greenspeed) deliver full capacity down to 5°F and continue heating at -13°F. They are the right answer for almost every PNW home.
  • Are your technicians your own employees?
Every single one. We've never used a subcontractor for residential work and we never will. The truck in your driveway is a NorthPeak truck, the tech is W-2, and the warranty is ours.
  • What financing do you offer?
0% APR for 18 months on qualifying installs through our finance partner. Standard installment financing 12 to 144 months. We file the rebate paperwork for you on every heat-pump install.
  • Do you do commercial?
Light commercial up to 10-ton split systems and rooftop packaged units. For larger industrial work, we refer to a trusted partner.
  • What brands do you install?
Carrier, Trane, Mitsubishi, Bosch, Daikin, Lennox. We have no manufacturer kickback structure — we recommend the right unit for the home, not the most lucrative SKU.
  • How long does an install take?
Most furnace or AC swaps are one day. Full heat-pump conversions with electrical work and ducting can stretch to two or three days. Always quoted up front with a confirmed completion date.
