The fine print, up front

What membership actually gets you.

The tune-up visit itself

Each seasonal visit is a full 21-point service, not a drive-by filter swap: refrigerant pressures, capacitor and contactor readings, blower amp draw, heat-exchanger inspection, condensate line flush, coil cleaning, thermostat calibration, and a written health report on the system. Plan for about 75 minutes per system.

Priority dispatch, defined

Plan members go to the front of the schedule — during a July heat wave or a January cold snap, that's the difference between same-day service and a four-day wait. Family and Total Care members also get the 24/7 emergency line, and Total Care guarantees a tech on site within one hour in Seattle and Bellevue city limits.

Repair discounts that stack up

10, 15, or 20% off our published flat-rate repair book, plus the $89 diagnostic fee waived on every visit. One mid-size repair a year — a blower motor, a control board — typically covers the entire annual cost of the plan on its own.

No contract games

Plans are billed monthly, run year to year, and cancel anytime after the first 12 months with a phone call. Prepay the year and get one month free. If you sell the house, the plan transfers to the buyer at no charge — a genuine closing-table perk.

Frequently asked

Maintenance plan questions, answered straight.

Why does maintenance matter in Seattle's mild climate?
Because Puget Sound systems don't die of extremes — they die of neglect and moisture. Heat pumps here run nearly year-round in both directions, and our damp air is brutal on outdoor coils and electrical connections. The manufacturers agree: skipping annual maintenance is grounds for denying a warranty claim on most major brands we install, including Trane, Carrier, and Mitsubishi.
Which plan is right for my house?
Standard fits a single-system home — one furnace or one heat pump. Family covers up to two systems, which is most Eastside houses with AC plus a furnace, or a two-zone setup. Total Care adds the water heater, annual duct-leak testing, and the 1-hour emergency guarantee — the right call for larger homes or anyone who never wants to think about mechanical rooms again. Not sure? Call and we'll tell you honestly; upgrading a plan later takes one phone call.
What exactly happens during a tune-up visit?
A licensed tech spends about 75 minutes per system on a 21-point service: refrigerant pressure check, electrical readings on capacitors and contactors, blower amp draw, heat-exchanger inspection, condensate flush, outdoor coil cleaning, thermostat calibration, and a filter swap. You get a written report with photos and readings — the same documentation your manufacturer wants to see for warranty coverage.
Can I cancel, and is there a contract?
Plans run month to month after the first year. We ask for the initial 12 months because the plan's economics assume both seasonal visits happen; after that, cancel anytime with a phone call — no cancellation fee, no retention-department runaround. Prepay a year up front and the 12th month is free.
Do plan discounts apply to new system installs?
The 10–20% repair discount applies to flat-rate repairs, not full system replacements — but plan members get first crack at our off-season install pricing and a $500 loyalty credit toward any replacement we quote. Financing through GoodLeap from $99/mo applies either way.
What if my equipment is old or another company installed it?
We maintain all makes and models regardless of who installed them. If a system is close to end of life, the first tune-up report says so plainly — with a repair-versus-replace breakdown — rather than letting you pay us to maintain a furnace with two winters left. About one in ten first visits ends with that honest conversation.
